It appears to be all-in for FC Barcelona when it comes to Julian Alvarez, but their patience officialy runs out now. They have put down the red lines and have set their limit: 72 hours maximum for Atletico Madrid to give them the green light for the operation that involves Julian Alvarez. Because on Saturday this case will be closed if there's no imminent advance. Deco's Plan B is waiting.

Although Alvarez is the main priority of Sporting Director Deco, the intention of the Barcelona board will not allow this endless operation into the campaign in which they end up empty.

Plan B for Deco

Deco has been working discretely and at a good pace, on a large amount of different profiles. Should the Atletico board of directors continue to stop this deal without any clear solution, the Catalan entity will immediately withdraw its interest in the Argentine forward. Victor Gyokeres, Ayoze Perez and Luis Suarez are few names that have circulated in the media, but we still aren't 100% sure who the favourite is.

The Metropolitano exile

On the side of the Metropolitan stadium, tension and disagreement reigns again, reaching its climax this Wednesday. In the list for the preseason, in which there were several surprise absences and most notably Julian Alvarez.

This being a gesture that leaves no doubt where the desire to 'colchonero' forward is directed. The player wants Barca. The fact is that in 72 hours we will know whether this deal will be possible or Julian Alvarez is condemned to continue in Madrid.
