Barcelona are once again traveling away from home in La Liga as they play against newly promoted Levante. Levante are looking to pick up their first points of the campaign after losing to Alaves. Barcelona will be looking to keep their campaign on track to repeat as champions.

Match Preview

Barcelona vs Levante have surprisingly been an exciting game the last couple of times they've played each other even though it's been three years since their last meeting. There's a memorable 5-4 upset that Levante pulled off when Barcelona were looking to go undefeated and there has been 3+ goals in their last three matchups. Levante were also the best team in La Segunda. All those thing said, Barcelona should be picking up a win here and anything besides a win would be a concern.

Barcelona are expected to be the team to beat in La Liga and picking up good wins against lower level opposition is key to continue on the right track. It could be an exciting game as Levante are scrappy, but it should be a win by more than a one goal margin.

Expected Lineup

Levante: Cunat; Toljan, De La Fuente, Elgezabal, Cabello, Sanchez; Alvarez, Rey, Martinez; Romero, Brugue

Barcelona: Garcia; Garcia, Araujo, Cubarsi, Balde; Pedri, Gavi; Yamal, Olmo, Raphinha; Torres

Two changes in the lineup expected for Barcelona today as De Jong hasn't trained this week due to a personal matter and Gavi is expected to get the start. Olmo comes in for Fermin as Fermin didn't have a great showing agaisnt Mallorca and those two are going head to head for that position so it's likely Olmo gets it this week

Score Prediction

Barcelona 4-2 Levante

Barcelona continue their scoring ways looking comfortably ahead all game but are capable of leaking goals too so I can see late goals. I can see a 4-2 scoreline being a fair result.
