As has Flick's preference, from the starting being, the German tactician considers that he needs experienced leaders in a squad with mostly youngsters. Thus, even though Inigo's contract runs down next summer and Lewa's agreement till June 2026, chances are significant for the duo to continue beyond that.

Moreover, as reports suggest, Iñigo Martinez's Barca will get automatically renewed if he plays at least 60% of the team's matches this season.
