FC Barcelona's summer transfer window was promising, with the club putting up a brilliant effort to have the best roster available. Though they missed out on a high-profile winger, they did sign a versatile attacking asset in Dani Olmo, while halting any move for full-backs in the presence of seasoned star Jules Kounde and prodigy Alejandro Balde. However, it seems that the club would have an even longer wishlist as they approach the summer transfer window again.

While it has been significantly known that Hansi Flick and the Barcelona board are keen to target some prodigy full-backs who can contribute to the first team, they could be on the lookout for a keeper as well. Considering Club Captain Ter Stegen's injury early this season caused them to make a signing replacement, FC Barcelona is seriously considering signing the German's successor in the summer market.

As reports suggest, one of the names being closely monitored by the Blaugrana club is of 25-year-old prodigy keeper Marcin Bulka. Having established himself as one of the best keepers in terms of success pass rates, the Ligue 1 keeper could be a serious option for FC Barcelona ahead of the next season. Moreover, considering that Bulka hasn't renewed his contract with OGC Nice till now, chances arise in the player's Barcelona move.

However, recently, the keeper himself has opened up on what he feels about his transfer situation amidst various rumors with European Giant clubs. Bulka mentioned,

""As they say, there's a grain of truth in every rumor. When it comes to transfers, I prefer to leave that to my agent.""

Although Bulka acknowledged that such rumors with top clubs are a motivation source for him, the keeper cleared his plans for this season. Bulka mentioned,

""My role is to perform on the pitch and have the big clubs ask for me. Of course, such rumors are motivation, but I'm focused on Nice this season.""

As mentioned, Marcin Bulka has made it clear that he wants to remain at Nice for this season at least. Considering his contract with the French club runs down in June 2026, it's still early to expect any significant moves from either Nice's entourage or Barcelona's entourage for the player's future. However, certainly, with Ter Stegen being 32 already, it is clear that FC Barcelona would want to look for future keeping options soon.
