The wait is finally over. Paris Saint-Germain have successfully completed the signing of FC Barcelona forward Ferran Torres, bringing an end to a saga that had been in its latter stages for a number of days.
According to Fabrizio Romano, FC Barcelona will receive a fee of straight 50 million for the 26-year-old Spanish international. The cash will provide FC Barcelona with the financial resource to be able to balance their books while looking to aggressively pursue their key targets in the transfer market.

Unbelievable summer
For Torres himself, the move to the French capital has culminated in an unbelievable summer for him. Having arrived as a world cup final hero, he has possibly never been better positioned than he is now. His exploits at the world cup brought him to the forefront in Luis Enrique's mind and were enough to trigger their desire to land him in the French capital.
Reports indicate that Torres was unequivocal on his own terms; he was only going to Paris and was willing to reject other big offers. He was determined to get this move to PSG completed and was instrumental in its swift conclusion.
The paperwork is signed and the fabled "Here we go!" given. Torres is now set to be unveiled at the Parc des Princes.
