Pablo Torre
While stars like Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski, and Raphinha stood excellent, as has been their repute at the club, much appreciation is due for the 21-year-old Torre, who was clinical in Barca's 5-1 victory against Villarreal. Starting in the midfield, Torre continued the mavericks he had promised with his Preseason performances, never letting the club feel the absence of superstar Dani Olmo.
In his debut start, that too playing only 59 minutes, the young prodigy left an impression too good, making it impossible to start him on the bench again. Starting with a beautiful pass to star forward Lewandowski, Torre stood crucial in ensuring a great start as the Polish legend finished it with much ease past Conde. Moreover, while situations could have gone either way, considering an exciting start to the 2nd half, the attacking midfielder ensured a comfortable 3-1 lead for Barca, through a magnificent outside-the-box finish.
