After conquering the Euro 2024 trophy, the Spanish Barca players are back in Barcelona camp. Be it Fermin Lopez or Gavi, who couldn't get the chance to feature for Spain, or Pedri and the young sensation Lamine Yamal, everyone played a pivotal role in bringing the Euro trophy back to Spain after 12 years.

Now that the international football action is over, club football is more than ready to conquer the stage. With the summer transfer window in full swing, featuring some of the biggest European names, and most of the teams beginning their preseason tour, the upcoming few days will be extremely crucial from a club's perspective.

Yamal will miss the US Preseason tour

The last few days have witnessed various things happening at the Catalan club, some going in favor of Barca and some against them. Now, according to some recent reports, a news update regarding Lamine Yamal is circulating like fire on the internet. The 17-year-old youngster will miss the US preseason tour, which would see Barca feature against some of the biggest European names.

Lamine Yamal, who has just returned from a spectacular star-making Euro campaign, has been rested by the Barcelona board for the upcoming preseason. The youngster has had a long 2023–24 season, as he featured in 37 La Liga fixtures, just missing one. In addition, he represented the Blaugrana camp in 10 UCL fixtures and three matches in league cups.

Thus, regarding the youngster's preseason availability, the Barca board has made it clear that he will be rested. That was not only essential for Yamal's workload but also for Hansi Flick, as it would give him an opportunity to try upon some other interesting players. Recently, players like Ansu Fati and Vitor Roque, who had been impressive at the training sessions, found opportunities to return to the Barcelona lineup.

Moreover, for fringe wingers like Raphinha and Ferran Torres, the US preseason would be a great opportunity to prove themselves, which is relevant for Barca. Thus, with Barcelona lining up to face clubs like Manchester City, Real Madrid, and AC Milan, the preseason would be the first challenge for FC Barcelona before they start their season with the Joan Gamper trophy.
