Barcelona not far from realising the dream signing of Spanish Star
- Barcelona planning to submit another bid to sign Euro 2024 golden boot winner.
- Leipzig star Dani Olmo wants to join Barcelona after playing for La Masia before.
Since the Nico Williams deal has gone cold for FC Barcelona, the Blaugrana club has shown active progress in the signing of Nico's teammate Dani Olmo. Even though Barca's first offer got rejected by RB Leipzig, the club has been trying their best to include Olmo in their next season roster.
Unlike Nico's transfer deal, Barcelona are very grateful to Dani Olmo, as the player is waiting for the club to resolve their financial fair play issues despite interest from Man United and Bayern. Being a former La Masia graduate, Olmo still holds significant connection with the Catalan club which might prove worth in his overall transfer deal.
Barcelona not far from realising the dream signing of Spanish Star
According to recent reports, Barcelona has prepared another offer for Dani Olmo, including €47 M fixed and €13 M in variables. Overall, the offer lines are €47 M fixed, €3 M depending upon the number of matches he plays, and €10 M for the titles he wins with FC Barcelona.
Given the Spaniard's versatility to feature both as a midfielder or as a winger, Olmo could be a great addition to the Catalan club. Moreover, Barca has got a clear message that the player wants to join the club, as he views that the new Barca era could be the perfect project for him.
In the Dani Olmo saga, the biggest positive for FC Barcelona is that Leipzig wants Dani Olmo to sign for an English club or Barça, not Bayern Munich. Barça are now moving fast and want to complete the deal as soon as possible.
According to some recent updates, it doesn't look unlikely that Barcelona can reach a deal to sign Dani Olmo during their ongoing Preseason tour. Having the green signal from manager Hansi Flick and Sporting Director Deco, Barca finds themselves in a confident position to bring Dani Olmo.
Though further updates regarding Leipzig's response to Barcelona's second offer are yet to arrive, Barca would hope they manage to sign their dream transfer target Dani Olmo.
