Barcelona star thanks Toni Kroos for his concern about the midfielder's injury

After Mikel Merino's extra-time late header sent Spain to the Semifinals of Euro 2024, Toni Kroos posted a heartfelt message on Pedri's injury. Though the German legend never intended to hurt the Spanish youngster, Kroos' rough tackle ended the Euro 2024 tournament for Pedri.

Recently, in a reply to Toni Kroos' heartfelt post, Pedri posted,

The youngster showed true sportsmanship by saying that injuries happen regularly in football. Moreover, acknowledging the illustrious career of the German legend Toni Kroos was a heartwarming gesture from Pedri. Kroos, who had already decided to hang up his boots after the Euros, played his final fixture for Die Mannschaft on Friday.

Not only that, Pedri's post also revealed the fact that the Catalan midfielder would continue with the team till the end. In his words,
