Though they haven't been able to match an offer worth agreement from Leipzig, there have been significant efforts to make an offer of €60 million as per the German club's desire.

Though initially it was suggested that Hansi Flick would see the youngster in the preseason before deciding upon his future, Roque's ordinary display against Manchester City and lack of much game time in the El Clasico fixture haven't helped the forward. The message from the Catalan camp is clear: they want to extract at least €40 million from the forward's deal and are ready to wait for better offers in the coming weeks.
