In an interview with DAZN, FC Barcelona's sporting director has said that the team will not have new players this winter. Deco was asked about Xavi's substitute and he answered that they "are not thinking on that right now". The team is still in crisis, despite having only made two signings since the summer.

If the situation wasn't bad enough, yesterday became worse after Joao Félix ankle sprain (which means a month out) and Ferran Torres injury against Osasuna, just when he was playing at his highest level since he joined Barça. According to Marca, Ferran could be out for a month. These players have been added to the injury list namely, Ter Stegen, Gavi, Marcos Alonso, Iñigo Martínez and Raphinha.

Furthermore, two of the best players of the team, Joao Félix and Joao Cancelo will have to return to Atlético de Madrid and Manchester City respectively at the end of the season.

Jijantes says Deco has met Lucas Bergvall and his family. The Swedish young start could join FC Barcelona this summer. With this signing Barcelona would have a very young core with Gavi, Pedri, Vitor Roque, Balde, Yamine Lamal, Fermín and the new players that are coming from La Masia. Perhaps Barça fans will have to wait to win titles. However, what is clear is that they have a lot of young talent that will give them a lot of joy in the future.
