FC Barcelona's 2024/25 campaign has been brilliant so far. At the top of the La Liga table, with 21 points from eight matchdays and recently having marked their first 3 points in the UCL campaign, things seem to be going in the right direction at the club. Add to that the recent injury recovery update of the club's versatile superstar, who is expected to be back for the unit soon.

Having had a memorable Euro 2024 campaign with the Spanish national team, the tournament's Golden Boot winner, Dani Olmo, soon became Barca's priority. Been a part of the club's youth academy, in his early days, the Blaugrana club didn't wait further as they brought him as their dream summer signing of the transfer window.
As soon as he debuted for the club, he had all the spotlight on him, boasting a goal each in the three games he played for the club. However, certainly, the September international break didn't go easy on him. After having faced a strong knock against Serbia, he had become much more injury-prone, with the obvious taking place in Barca's next game against Girona.
So far, this season the player has already missed 5 games for the Catalan side; however, a positive injury update on the star player finds much optimism in the club camp. While it is certainly inevitable that the Spaniard won't be available for Barca's upcoming fixture against Alaves, making it the 6th missed game for him, chances are significant that he will return after the international break.
As per reports from Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona expect Dani Olmo to return and play some minutes against Sevilla, then be fully fit to start against Madrid and Bayern. Moreover, the report further mentions that the star player is training up to three times a day on a personalized individual recovery plan for his injury.
From Barcelona's perspective, Olmo's return could solve their issues of squad strength, allowing Club Captain Raphinha to move back into the wing position. In fact, Olmo's return couldn't have come at a better stage than the Sevilla fixture, as the Blaugrana club faces two European Giants consecutively next.
Overall, the Spaniard's injury recovery update has been one of the biggest positives for the Catalan club in a while. Having already shown in the initial games that the effect is capable of delivering, Barça fans would hope to have him at his best for the matches after the international break.
