3. Kingsley Coman – The Wild Card
Bayern Munich attacker Kingsley Coman has recently been linked with a move to Barcelona, adding another intriguing possibility to the club’s transfer plans. Known for his pace and precision, Coman would add a steady presence on the wing, and familiarity with head coach Hansi Flick, who managed the Bavarians from 2019-2021.
Coman has enjoyed a decorated nine-year tenure at Bayern Munich and his experience playing under Flick would bode well for his transition if a deal is finalized. The German manager reportedly has a lingering admiration for Coman and would be delighted at the chance to reunite with his former player under the bright lights of Camp Nou.
Bayern Munich reportedly offered Coman to Barcelona on a loan deal with the option to buy, though a conflict of interest could reportedly complicate negotiations between the two clubs. Paris Saint Germain is also intrigued by a reunion with the Frenchman who played for PSG's academy before departing for Juventus on a free transfer in 2014, and Coman reportedly prefers a transfer to the French capital should he leave Bayern Munich this summer.
PSG is much better equipped to satisfy the player's wage demands, as Barcelona's financial malpractice has left them struggling to register their own players ahead of the new La Liga campaign. Still, Barca has several key departures impending, and the board will be eager to flip their profits to land another impactful signing before it's too late.
