FC Barcelona's start to the new season has proven to be of mixed feelings for the Culers. While the club couldn't have gotten off to a better start performance-wise, the issue of injuries continues to be a severe headache for the Blaugrana club. Already having stars like De Jong, Gavi, and Ronald Araujo injured, Marc Bernal's ACL injury and Fermin's muscle issues have affected the squad.
Currently, Boss Hansi Flick is restricted to only certain options in some key areas and needs to continue working with the same till the next transfer window arrives. While, despite having such an injury-inflicted squad, establishing total dominance seems surreal, much has been possible due to the club's attack force.

It has been a considerable time since any club's front three enjoyed such impressive records, having five goal contributions each. While veterans like Lewandowski and Raphinha have been delivering their best for quite a while now, Yamal's performance has been just phenomenal so far. After having a star-making campaign at the Euros, the 17-year-old has continued his brilliance for the Catalan club, being instrumental in each fixture.
In fact, even the club's rivals seem to have significant praise for the youngster's mavericks so far. In a recent media address, Dani Carvajal, a veteran star of Real Madrid, praised his national teammate, saying,
""It seems incredible at Yamal's age that he is already in the elite, at a club like Barcelona and with the national team. He has adapted very well to the group. He is still a kid (laughs), so he has to keep his feet on the ground—but he's a great kid.""

In fact, just at 17 years of age, Lamine Yamal has gotten himself nominated for the Ballon d'Or award, apart from being the favorite for the Kopa Trophy 2024. Clearly, the youngster has been Barca's biggest prospect in recent times, and the club would have high hopes for him to bring major titles in the upcoming years.
