The last few days have seen Barca's interest in the Euro Top scorer Dani Olmo rise unexpectedly. Not long ago, Barcelona President Joan Laporta announced that he wanted Olmo's signing alongside Nico Williams, and it feels like his words are being converted into serious actions.

With FC Barcelona submitting a written offer to Olmo's agent for a 6-year contract, the Catalan club has started working on the Spaniard's deal. According to reports, Olmo's parent club, RN Leipzig, would receive around €60 million between fixed and variable. On top of that, Barca's willingness and interest in Nico Williams's deal have reached a significant spot where no back-off is possible.

Saudi interest might favor Barcelona

Thus, it is clear that the club will need heavy cash flow to sign the most sought-after duo in Spain in this summer transfer window. And for that cause, Saudi Arabia's interest can favor Barcelona to achieve the signings of Dani Olmo and Nico Williams.

According to reports, Al Hilal is highly interested in the Brazilian youngster Vitor Roque. Brought in for €40M, the 19-year-old was expected to be the future face of the club; however, the manager's interest has not been in favor of Roque, and thus, even after scoring a few late winners for the club, he wasn't looked upon again.

But interest from Saudi champions Al Hilal can be immensely beneficial to sanctioning the money for Barca's top prospects like Olmo and Williams. Thus, FC Barcelona expects to receive an offer from Al Hilal for Vitor Roque, and if it arrives, the club will look to sell him. Moreover, Roque's transfer move had been anticipated for a long time, even though it has come to the spotlight now.

When Lamine Yamal requested the number 19 at Barca next season, Vitor Roque, the then-owner, accepted the request for the jersey number. Roque already knew that, as he has been unregistered until now, chances are slim that Barca will count on him in their upcoming plans.

Thus, even if Vitor Roque wasn't able to prove his worth on many occasions at Barca, his departure might be a beautiful gift for Culers, as it might bag in a hefty transfer fee, helping in Olmo's and Williams' deal.
