In 66 appearances for Barcelona, the midfielder has racked up seven goals and assisted on eight occasions. However, he has revealed that it is time for him to think objectively and start planning for a move away from the club.
Despite his impressive form, the 32 year-old hasn’t found himself in Valverde’s plans this season. So much so that he has made only 3 appearances this season so far.
With the lack of game time and with time running out for the Chile international, Vidal is contemplating on a future and he doesn’t have any intentions of staying at the club if his lack of game time continues.
Valverde’s plans have been tough to decipher in all totality. However, the treatment being meted out to Vidal is unsatisfactory at the moment and a quality player like him does not deserve to be on the bench.
One can sympathize with Vidal as he hasn’t been given a clarity on his future by the club and the manager and is basically hoping for a chance at the moment.
Valverde should let the 32 year-old know about his future at the club and the Blaugranes should list him for the January transfer window if Vidal isn’t going to find a place in Valverde’s plans.
