Juventus are preparing to take over Barcelona transfer negotiations by offering Paris Saint-Germain a massive alternative to fill the gap.

Neymar’s eventual departure to Barcelona will surely leave big shoes to fill as the partnership between the Brazilian and Kylian Mbappe was without a doubt a spectacle at PSG.

More from Everything Barca

Things at the Parc des Princes are about to change as they prepare for a life without the superstar. Despite Mbappe being a fabulous talent, he will need teammates upfront to support him. Strikers Edinson Cavani and Mauro Icardi are 33 and 27 respectively, with the latter linked with a move this summer.

Neymar’s current replacement Angel di Maria, is 32 years of age with alternative, Julian Draxler, also tipped to be leaving in the next transfer window. PSG’s sale of Neymar to Barca will not include any forwards as the Catalan giants are lacking themselves in that area.

Juventus, however, are proposing an attractive offer by including Paulo Dybala in the mix. The Italian side are obsessed with the idea of winning the Champions League once again. It has been 25 years since the last time Juve won the glorious tournament and having lost two finals in Champions League’s previous five campaigns, the club is adamant about securing Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar on the same team to give football fans their attacking dream.

Neymar’s salary, however, cannot be met by the Turin based club and the Brazilian will not be lowering his demands unless it is for Barca. The PSG superstar wants to join hands with former teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

The economic crisis due to COVID-19 is said to complicate the deal even further but Juventus are preparing to do their best to negotiate a deal. Barca, meanwhile, are struggling to keep up with ongoing negotiations with multiple clubs to secure their long transfer list.

It remains to be seen if PSG will look to secure a great replacement for Neymar while Barca offers them none in return and also giving a lowered transfer fee.
