Antoine Griezmann has not been having the desired results ever since his arrival to Camp Nou last year. The 120 million euro signing has yet to shine for Barca as they now face the ultimate dilemma of having an expensive and struggling player just like Philippe Coutinho.
The current transfer market has been affected financially due to the ongoing pandemic which makes it difficult to find any possible suitors for an expensive player like Griezmann. While the French international desires to remain at Camp Nou, it is not outside the realm of possibilities to believe that the board will look to sell him to make a monetary gain, as they have done already with Arthur Melo.
Mundo Deportivo reports that the World Cup winner is reportedly ready to move to the Premier League after his latest quarrel with the coach, Quique Setien, during the clash against Atletico Madrid where Griezmann warmed up for 35 minutes, only to be brought in for the last 2 minutes of the match.
Both United and Manchester City are interested in the Frenchman but Bartomeu is looking to include him in the deal for Lautaro Martinez as that would significantly reduce Inter Milan’s asking price. While it is unknown whether Nerazzurri would be interested in acquiring Griezmann, his inclusion will certainly boost Barca’s chances of securing Lautaro.
Should Barca sell Antoine Griezmann this summer or give him more time?
