Barcelona could lose another youth star, this time to Manchester United.

Manchester United coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is looking to secure three major transfers including a Barcelona starlet this transfer window.

More from Everything Barca

The Premier League giants have been known to be interested in making multiple signings in the next window but have also included youth stars from around the world as part of their major restructuring project.

Solskjaer’s United have been in a tremendous form since the restart but have a long way to go in order to compete for the title alongside Liverpool, Chelsea and local rivals, Manchester City.

The 47-year-old, based on his squad’s great form, has decided to invest in the youth rather than signing big and expensive names, with three players being named as the ideal signing by the Norwegian coach.

Isak Hansen-Aaroen of Tromsø IL, Alvaro Fernandez of Real Madrid, and Marc Jurado of Barcelona, have all been added to United’s list of transfers.

Youngsters, Mason Greenwood and Brandon Williams, have already found success at Old Trafford, with the club having James Garner and Tahith Chong listed as the next big stars. The manager now hopes to add more youth to his squad in order to gradually build a championship-level team.

Manchester Evening News reports that the Premier League side are hopeful of announcing the three teenagers as their new signings. Barca’s Jurado has already rejected the option to extend his stay at Camp Nou with an expiring contract, which means that the Catalan side are losing yet another promising youngster from their ranks for free, which could be disastrous in the near future as they have already been heavily criticized for failing to convert their youth to the first-team.

The only exception to this have been Ansu Fati and Riqui Puig, who only recently found their place with the first-team, and hopefully, the club’s latest signings Francisco Trincão and Pedri find similar success.
