Barcelona midfielder, Philippe Coutinho, wants to stay at Camp Nou.
Philippe Coutinho was signed by Ernesto Valverde at Barcelona a couple of years ago for about 140 million euros from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. He arrived at the Nou Camp with huge expectations as he is a world-class player. However, with that kind of an amount for a transfer fee, the expectations to deliver increases automatically. The Brazilian failed to meet such expectations as he dropped bare average performances for the Blaugrana.

Philippe Coutinho was then sent off to Bayern Munich for a single season on loan. He ended up winning the treble under manager Hansi Flick. The 28-year-old returned to the Nou Camp this season as he faced another minor injury and has been dropping average performances so far.
Multiple reports have suggested a rumor that hints at the Brazilian making an exit from the Nou Camp. The former Liverpool midfielder has been linked to various Premier League clubs like Arsenal.
However, reports now suggest that the Brazilian is not interested in leaving the Nou Camp. The midfielder was previously linked with a move out of the club but the reports now state that he wants to continue with Barcelona and go on to make a name for himself in Catalunya. Coutinho was also linked with a move back to Liverpool to reunite with Jurgen Klopp last year but the German manager completely ruled that out.
Arsenal on the other hand were heavily linked to the former Inter Milan midfielder but their chances do not look so solid as the Barca man looks determined to stay and try to form some kind of a redemption arc for his previously very well-decorated career as an individual footballer.
Should Barca keep or sell Coutinho?
