Barcelona presidential candidate hints at a Neymar and Messi reunion.
Jordi Farre, a member who voted against Josep Maria Bartomeu with a no-confidence vote has stated that if he is to become the new Barcelona president, the fans will be seeing Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. play together again at the Nou Camp for Barcelona. The Spaniard has also stated that Neymar is welcome back to Camp Nou if he apologizes and makes amends for the way he left the Catalans.

Since Neymar Jr.’s exit in the summer of 2017, the footballer has failed to win the Ballon D’or or the UEFA Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain, as those two were specifically his goals. They were the reasons why he left the Nou Camp in the first place.
He felt that if he continued to play with Messi he would always be overshadowed no matter how well he performs. While the Brazilian has been absolutely fantastic for the Parisians, barring the injuries. He has so far failed to accomplish either of his goals. He did play the Champions League final under Thomas Tuchel in the 2019/20 season but PSG were beaten by Bayern Munich who ended up winning the treble with Hansi Flick.
The Brazilian has recently also stated that he would love to have Messi arrive at the Parc Des Princes and link up with him again. The 28-year-old is aware of how the Argentine handed in a transfer request last season during the summer transfer window of 2020 and that his contract runs out at the end of the 2020/21 season. Hence, Neymar is confident that Paris Saint-Germain will be landing Messi to reunite their iconic link up again.
However, Barcelona presidential candidate, Farre is extremely confident that Messi and Neymar Jr. will play again together, for Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
