Erling Haaland’s agent working hard to place him at Barcelona
Barcelona receive positive news regarding Erling Haaland’s signing.
Erling Haaland is one of the most sought after names in European football at the moment. The young striker burst onto the scene last season with RB Salzburg in the UEFA Champions League and was then linked with a lot of top teams. While he did end up going to German side Borussia Dortmund, his transfer rumors never stopped and he has been linked with Barcelona once again.

The 20-year-old is one of the most lethal finishers in all of Europe and any team would be lucky to have him on their side. It now seems that he is not satisfied with his choice and his manager is actively trying to make him play for Barcelona. The Catalans are arguably a bigger club than Dortmund, stature wise and playing in a club like the Catalan giants can create the player’s whole legacy.
Haaland was close to a move to Manchester United before he went to Dortmund which reveals his desire to play for one of the greatest clubs in the world but perhaps due to the form of the Red Devils, he decided against joining them. The Blaugrana themselves are not doing quite well performance-wise as they sit in the third position, seven points behind league leaders.
Barca have started to improve, however, and they have an exciting project upcoming. With a new president, and possibly a new coach, there will be fresh air all around the club. The Spanish giants are a club that are not satisfied by mediocrity and thus they want players such as Haaland who will help them regain their former glory.
Should the Norwegian move to the Catalan capital, he would be replacing legendary striker, Luis Suarez. It is a chance for the young player to create a legacy of his own in one of the greatest clubs in the world, alongside the best player in the world. The transfer of Haaland could also convince Lionel Messi to stay back at the club. While financially it may be a hard deal to pull off, but with the agent, Mino Raiola, wanting to complete the move as well, the deal could very well go through in the end.
