It is a very known fact that Paris Saint-Germain are keen on signing six-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi, on a free transfer in the summer. While the Argentine had already made up his mind on leaving the Camp Nou last summer, things have changed a lot ever since.

More from Everything Barca

The resignation by former president Josep Maria Bartomeu, followed by Ronald Koeman finding success with young talents like Pedri, Ronald Araujo, Ilaix Moriba, and many more, has brought a positive shift in attitude at Barca.

The return of Joan Laporta as Barca’s president is also reported to be a piece of positive news for the Argentine. Messi, now, seems to be enjoying life at the Nou Camp and this could be bad news for both PSG and Manchester City.

The two European giants have publically revealed their desire to sign the maestro with the French giants being the more adamant one.

It won’t be surprising to anyone that Neymar might be messaging Messi in order to persuade him into moving to the French capital. New reports, however, suggest that Kylian Mbappe is now doing his part in convincing the Argentine.

The French superstar had the opportunity to share the field with Messi during the Champions League clash between the two sides. The World Cup winner had shared a picture with Messi on social media saying “Thanks football to give me this opportunity to live this dream every day.”, gesturing the idea that Messi will be welcomed at PSG with open arms.

PSG also have Messi’s countrymen like Angel di Maria and Leandro Paredes, along with coach Mauricio Pochettino as an added incentive to move to Parc des Princes.
