Neymar to reunite with Lionel Messi at Barcelona claims former agent

The never-dying rumor of Neymar Jr. making a comeback to Barcelona has once again been reignited, this time by his former agent, Andre Cury.

The Brazilian star who chose to move away to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 has been linked with the Catalans every year but nothing ever has materialized out of it. However, this time it is different as the player is running out of a contract soon and the club will have to think carefully in order to keep both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The complicated situation in Paris along with the new president at Barcelona is apparently enough to make the 29-year-old leave PSG according to Cury. The former agent claims that Neymar knows that he made a mistake by joining the French side and now he finally has the chance to join the Blaugrana once again and reunite with Lionel Messi.

Neymar to make a return to Barcelona according to former agent.

In an interview with El Litoral, the former agent said that Neymar had asked him once before to find him a way back to Barca but it could not be done then. Now he claims that there is a real chance of the player making the move back. He said,

"“Neymar has an open door at Barcelona, their fans knows he made a mistake and even he recognised it some time later.”“Two years ago, Neymar formally asked me to return to Barcelona. We tried and we were really close to getting him out of Paris. But, because of some details, it didn’t happen.”“Laporta is the only one who can bring them back together again. Messi won’t leave Barcelona      he decided that his history is in Barcelona and I’m very clear on that.”“Neymar will play with Messi again, but in Barcelona.”Source Goal"

These are bold claims from Cury but one can never dismiss shock returns in the world of football. In reality, though, there is a very slim possibility of the player making a comeback due to the financial situation at Barcelona and due to the fact that Neymar already proclaimed his loyalty to PSG.

The player said in a previous interview that he was very happy at the French side and hoped that Messi would join him in Paris. It does not seem like the player has any intentions of moving back but one can still hope of a reunion.
