Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly very keen on landing Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic. The former Juventus man joined Barcelona with huge hope in an exchange deal that included Arthur Melo in 2020. However, his stint at Barca is something to be forgotten. As of now, it seems to be that the midfielder is not at all a part of Ronald Koeman‘s plans for the club. He’s got class, experience, talent, skill, and most of all he’s got what it takes to be a mature player, even then, he has failed to make the starting line-up for the team, especially with the rise of youngsters like Pedri, Ilaix Moriba and Riqui Puig.

More from Everything Barca

Barcelona are convinced that there are many suitors all across Europe who are willing to land Miralem Pjanic for a good amount of transfer fee. According to SPORT Witness, Juventus themselves are keen on bringing the player back on a two-year loan deal. The likes of Inter Milan and a few other clubs are also interested in the midfielder. As for the premier league, Tottenham Hotspur have revealed their interest.

Barcelona have no requirement for the player in their midfield. However, that does not prove Pjanic cannot be useful for many other great clubs out there. The former Juventus man has shown very well what he is capable of doing from midfield. He’s classy on the pitch, accurate when it comes to passing and moving the ball around. His long passes from halfway across the field to target an attacking member is simply his best quality to look out for. Another reason why he would perfectly fit for a club like Tottenham.

The North London club recently completed the signing of their new manager, former Wolverhampton Wanderers coach, Nuno Espirito Santo. Miralem Pjanic would be a great addition to this spurs team and as for Barcelona, they will receive a transfer fee which will come in handy in case they want to make more transfers in the summer. Given the current financial problems at the Nou Camp, Pjanic’s sale could aid the Catalan side a lot and president Joan Laporta has even revealed that he is not afraid to terminate Pjanic’s contract if the player refuses to leave.

Should Barca accept any bid that comes for Pjanic?
