More from Everything Barca
The former Everton and Southampton manager decided from the moment that he joined the club, that he would follow the path of Erk Ten Hag. The Ajax manager took the Dutch club to the semi-finals of the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League by playing youngsters, and developing the youth academy. Koeman’s vision was quite similar as he let go of many of the aged players in the club such as Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, and Luis Suarez.
Instead of them, came players like Pedri, Ansu Fati, Ilaix Moriba, Oscar Mingueza, Sergino Dest, and Ronald Araujo.
