While Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola publically stated that the arrival of 100 million superstar Jack Grealish meant that the doors to the Etihad stadiums were closed for Messi, Paris Saint-Germain were quick to plan their offer.
The Parisians were not only reported to have offered the six-time Ballon d’Or winner a three-year contract but also that Messi himself was leaning towards the French giants. With PSG having already booked the Eiffel Tower on 10th August for the supposed signing of Messi. all eyes are currently on how a Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Lionel Messi front-line is going to rock the world of football next season.
While Barca fans are still hopeful of a possible change in the situation with La Liga loosening their regulations for the continuation of the Argentine, the race to sign the free agent isn’t over until it’s official.

With Man City out and PSG as the favorites, Premier League giants Chelsea have decided to try their luck in the matter. The defending European champions are known to have immense liquidity and are favorites to compete with Real Madrid and Barcelona next season for the signing of Erling Haaland.
Reports also linked The Blues with a move for Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku for a transfer fee of around 120 million this summer and were ready to offer him 12 million euros a year along with two other bonuses. Thomas Tuchel’s side is planning to keep one foot on Lukaku deal while continuing to monitor Messi’s situation and study their chances for a possible deal.
