Yet another player who is not being utilized by Xavi at all is Sergino Dest. While the manager has tried several positions with the player, it has become clear that he is not fitting into the new manager’s system. Barca is actively looking for a new right-back including the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta and Noussair Mazraoui. Dest was a solid starter for the club back when Ronald Koeman was the manager; however, with the change of manager, he has fallen out of favor.

There were rumors linking the wing back to clubs such as Chelsea and Bayern Munich and this is potentially good news for the Catalans. Big club means big money and although they are most likely to suffer a loss on the transfer, they could aim to break even. Since the club is already trying for Azpilicueta and Mazraoui, Dest could also be potentially used in a swap deal which would favor the Blaugrana as well.
