FC Barcelona have received a major boost ahead of their Champions league game against Feyenoord as exciting prospect Jesse Bisiwu returned to first-team training today. Concerns were raised over the weekend when it emerged that he had suffered a knock in Barcelona Atletic's Copa Catalunya clash.

What initially appeared to be a troubling injury caused immediate concern among coaching staff, given the player’s recent momentum and integration into first-team dynamics under Hansi Flick.

However, the youngster was given the all clear after medical scans had been completed and could be seen back on the training pitch at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Available for European duty

Bisiwu's speedy return is a huge relief for the Hansi Flick who will look to use talent more regularly due to the busy fixture list they face between now and the end of the season. It is yet unknown whether Bisiwu will start or come off the bench but it is now expected that he will be a part of the squad named for the game on against Feyenoord.

The winger offers pace, technique and agility, and provides Flick with a different dynamic option if Barcelona need more sparkle. For Bisiwu, this small hiccup serves as another stepping stone in his blossoming career in the Blaugrana colours and a chance to showcase his talent on Europe's biggest stage.
