1. Barcelona maintain their winning start to the campaign
One look at the La Liga schedule for the 2024–25 season and the most optimistic of Cules could be forgiven for sporting a worried look. Valencia away at Mastella and Athletic Club anywhere in Spain are two of the biggest match-ups in the calendar. A win and a draw would have been looked at as favorable outcomes, but Flick's men have come out unscathed, amassing victories in both their fixtures.

Pedri came in for Casado in an otherwise unaltered Barcelona line-up from their game against Valencia. Including the recently crowned Euro champion further strengthened Barcelona's grip in the center of the park and helped the Catalans register a win that could have looked much better than a 2-1 scoreline with a bit more luck.
