Whenever there is a managerial change at a football club, many players disappear into their former shadows. The same can be said for FC Barcelona captain, Sergi Roberto who seems to have fallen out of priority under the new management.

As Xavi packs his bags to make way for Hansi Flick, Sergi Roberto's renewal seems to go out the same door as the Spanish manager. Financial Fair Play might also play an important role in the decision as players like Gavi aren't even registered in the league.

FC Barcelona's first concerns are the young players like Gavi and Balde who were unregistered because of their injuries to make way for other players to play in the league. Vitor Roque was registered in a similar fashion and the Brazilian now seems to be moving away on a loan deal.

This creates big problems for the Spanish club as FFP rules will have a large influence over their transfer strategy this summer. There are already rumors of Hansi wanting to buy three Liverpool stars which is going to be a humongous task in itself considering the current situation.

Captain Sergi Roberto has been with this club through thick and thin and can be given the legend status for his loyalty towards the club. Although through this chaos, El Capitan might not be with us for the next season, the Spaniard has done enough to become a fan favorite.

The streets won't forget,

"It's Neymar trying to feed it through and it's a stretch, and it's in. And I can't remember the last time I saw something like this. Extraordinary scenes at the Nou Camp, Sergio (misspelled) Roberto..."

This is definitely the highlight of the Catalan's career. Now, it is up to him to decide where he'll go next. If he actually leaves at the end of the season, we have only one thing to say, "Gracias Sergi!"
