FC Barcelona identifies exciting 20-year-old Star Wing prospect for left flank

FC Barcelona's 2024/25 campaign has been brilliant so far. Being comfortable at the tabletop position in La Liga after seven wins in eight matchdays and having marked their first points in the UCL season recently, the Blaugrana club has given remarkable displays this season. With almost all the starters having contributed significantly to the club's success so far, the club has been in good morale recently.

Spanish star Ferran Torres hasn't been in remarkable form this season, being one of the crucial setbacks in the club's only disappointing performances against Osasuna and AS Monaco. Although he has three goal contributions this season, the star forward hasn't been pretty convincing in the left-wing role.

Moreover, with the club considering releasing their prodigy forward, Ansu Fati, who hasn't gotten much game time this season, the club would need a signing for the left-wing role. While Club Captain Raphinha has been outstanding in the position, whenever Hansi Flick has utilized him in the role, FC Barcelona still needs a reliable backup for him on the wing spot.

Rising through the ranks of PL powerhouse Manchester United, prodigy winger Alejandro Garnacho has made a name for himself in European football recently. Since debuting for the Red Devils in the 2022/23 season, the Argentine has been one of the club's best prospects in a while.

Coming on the back of an impressive 2023/24 season, being involved in 15 goals for Manchester United, Garnacho emerged as one of the biggest positives for the club in their otherwise underwhelming campaign. Moreover, this season, the winger's numbers have just been spectacular, having 7 goal contributions in 10 appearances for the club.

Given the player's dynamic abilities, he could be the player FC Barcelona might look for in their left-wing role. As per reports from The Sun, FC Barcelona has shown interest in the 20-year-old prodigy, who is not in the best of relationships with United boss Ten Hag and could be on the move next summer. Given the turbulent conditions going on at the club, Garnacho, who has a contract till 2028, stands a possibility of making an exit move.

Currently, even though the situation of Garnacho's transfer is in its initial stages, the possibility of him making a move could translate into reality. While there are other clubs like Serie A Giants and Juventus interested in him, Barca would definitely want to acquire the prodigy talent if he becomes available.
