Coming on the back of losses in the last La Liga game and the UCL campaign, many expectations would be for Barca to turn things around, and they delivered the same. Cruising over Young Boys while hosting the fixture at Montjuic, Flick's Barcelona looked dominant from the beginning till the very end.

Once again, brilliant performances coming from star players Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Pedri, and the overall unit as a whole, the 5-0 win would certainly boost the club's morale. As has been Barca boss Flick's high-pressing strategy, the Blaugrana club subdued the opposition lineup with their high-line tactics pretty effectively.
From the very beginning, Barca started the fixture, fancying the chances that came along their way. Much sooner, the side got the result as a goal attempt from versatile star Raphinha, which ended up being an open goal opportunity for star forward Lewandowski, who made it 1-0 for the club just 8 minutes into the game.
An early goal into the fixture clearly had FC Barcelona much ahead in the game, unlike the Monaco fixture, as was completely evident from the body language of the players. Controlling the possession and finding spaces in the opposition half, the Barca attack force was continuously in the hunt for more goals, and it ultimately arrived in the 34th minute.
A short corner taken found Pedri taking a goal aim, which rebounded, and Raphinha made no mistake, capitalizing on a brilliant goal opportunity. Being 2-0 already, with minutes remaining in the first half, the lineup didn't slow down but rather became much more dominant on the offensive front. Just minutes later, an incredible cross from star midfielder Pedri found veteran Inigo, who, with a perfect header, added his name to the scoreline, making it 3-0.
Despite already having put enough on the scoreline for the fixture, the Blaugrana club didn't steady down, as star forward Lewandowski brought Barca's 4th goal of the night. With the ball coming on from Inigo Martinez's header attempt, the 36-year-old forward acted quickly enough to complete his brace with a timely header into the goal.
It was pretty clear by then that FC Barcelona had completely outplayed Young Boys, having exhausted them mentally and physically, as became much evident from the way Barca's final goal of the fixture came. Prodigy full-back Balde's cross had a strong deflection from Camara, with the ball spinning on its way, ultimately ending up in the goal line.
Overall, with the Catalan club putting up a collective effort once again, they very deservedly marked their first 3 points of the new UCL campaign. Moreover, with injury returnees Ansu Fati and Frenkie de Jong finding some game time in the end minutes, it was pretty close to an almost perfect fixture for FC Barcelona. Going forward, to be up against some of the best European clubs, Barca would want to replicate the same, aspiring to mark major titles this season.
