FC Barcelona has won their first four matches, finding themselves comfortable at the tabletop with the complete 12 points. While their first three victories seemed impressive, their recent mavericks against Real Valladolid were just a treat to FC Barcelona fans. Even though it was certainly going to be an easier fixture for Barca than their previous ones, the Blaugrana club traumatized the opposition, registering a score line of 7-0.

As Hansi Flick had promised before, indicating his clear plans to win all the matchdays before the international break, the German manager has made it a reality. Speaking after the Valladolid fixture, Flick said,

""The goal was to win all of our matches before the international break, which we did. I'm very happy today; so are the players.""

Barca's performance against Valladolid not just stood out due to the massive score line of 7 goals to none but rather because even after scoring significant goals, the Catalan lineup kept searching for more. Highly impressed by the team's performance, Flick mentioned,

""When you see how the fans are excited after the victory, and you see that the team doesn't lose intensity after seven goals, it's very good. This makes the fans feel proud. We are here to give our best.""

In the fixture, every Blaugrana player stood up to the challenge. While everyone gave it their best, with goals coming from Lewandowski, Olmo, and Ferran to Barca's sensation, Yamal doing it brilliantly, one player just stood above all Raphinha. Coming into the fixture, the Brazilian winger had only 1 goal contribution despite some incredible performances this season, and he changed it all this time. Scoring a brilliant hat trick, the winger led the Barcelona attack from the front, playing a crucial part in Barcelona's 7-0 victory.

Flick, praising Raphinha's quality, mentioned that he should have gotten a hattrick much before. Barca's boss said,

""Honestly, it took way too long for Raphinha to score a hat trick. He has the quality to do that. His form is spectacular; he's roaming free on the pitch.""

With just four matchdays in La Liga, FC Barcelona has asserted a dominance of its own in the Spanish League. Although it's a long way in the 2024/25 campaign, Flick's era has given the fans the hope that the club is ready to fight for titles despite facing financial and unavailability issues.

Already being regarded as the club's signing of the summer window, Flick expressed,

""I'm proud to be told I'm the signing of the transfer window, but we're only in the fourth game, and that can change quickly. Obviously, I'm happy that the fans are satisfied; that's one of my goals.""

As always, the German mastermind has been claiming that his goal has been to look forward to the next game. FC Barcelona will now feature in the La Liga matchday against Girona on 15th September, after the international break. Barca fans would hope that Flick and the players continue with the same momentum after the break.
