Neymar and Barcelona have quite a rollercoaster of history. The Brazilian experienced the majority of his success with the Catalan side but then he decided to go to the Paris side in order to find more individual success.

More from Everything Barca

Although he has been quite good with Paris Saint-Germain, he has not managed to hit the same levels that he did back at Catalonia. Now, he has once again been linked with his former club for a move back and this time it looks like it is actually a possibility although the Catalans are suffering from a financial crisis.

With 1.2 billion euros in debt, no one would imagine Barca buying Neymar and it is true, they cannot afford the Brazilian with money. Instead, according to England-based news outlet, Express, the Blaugrana are debating on whether they should offer two of their biggest stars to PSG in order to bring back Neymar.

The two stars that we are speaking of are both world cup winners, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele. Barcelona are reportedly ready to offer both of the players to the French side in exchange for just one player.

PSG might be tempted to trade Neymar for two French superstars from Barcelona

The two superstars cost Barca around 255 million euros combined. This would make their value more than Neymar however, they have failed to live up to their previous forms at Barcelona and thus their values might have dropped significantly. Manchester United is believed to have offered the Catalans close to 100 million euros this season for Dembele but the French forward refused to leave. Griezmann’s value is still unknown at the moment but one could assume that he would also be worth similar to Dembele.

Neymar has stalled his contract extension with PSG yet again after he heard that Messi might be staying in Spain and this begs us to ask the question, will the Brazilian be back at Barca to reunite with Lionel Messi? Messi had previously stated that Neymar never enjoyed at PSG but in his most recent interview, last year, in December, the Argentine refused to speak on the situation any further. We must wait and see what Joan Laporta has up his sleeves and whether he can make the unthinkable happen.
